More About Jasmine Fang (She/Her)

Jasmine Fang (she/her) is a Taiwanese American author whose stories celebrate the beauty and complexities of everyday life. Her debut picture book, Beneath the Same Round Moon (Beaming Books, Fall 2026), will be followed by a second title (Penguin Young Readers, Fall 2027).

Committed to community building and amplifying underrepresented voices, Jasmine writes with her personal motto in mind: livekind. She spent a decade working in international affairs, higher education, and leadership development, bringing a global perspective to her storytelling. A PB Rising Stars mentee and SCBWI BIPOC Scholarship recipient, Jasmine also volunteers with SCBWI and serves as an InkedVoices mentor.

Jasmine holds a BA from UC Irvine and an MBA from Georgetown University. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, children, and many tennis rackets.
