More About Kathryn Rammell
Languages: English
Inspired by the quirky imagination of her youth as well as the adventures she goes on with her children, Kathryn Rammell's work aims to spark humor and joy.
When not writing or illustrating, Kathryn can be found planning roadtrips to National Parks or beach hopping down the Pacific Coast Highway.
You can find her online at:
Kathryn’s strengths include…
Story flow, body movement, facial expressions, and visual humor. For words and story, her strengths include humor, connecting with the way children view the world, sharing a lesson without being didactic, voice, word chopping, and best of all: cheerleading!
What Kathryn is looking for…
Kathryn is looking for a mentee who is passionate about picture books and ready to take their work to the next level. She hopes to work with someone whose biggest dream is to be traditionally published and is ready to make that dream a reality but needs help figuring out what their roadblocks are. She wants to help someone stretch their creative muscles and get that unique voice of theirs shining! A positive attitude with realistic expectations is vital- the KidLit publishing world is SO fun but SO tough. She connects best with humor but is open to most anything.
A Note from Kathryn:
“Let joy and passion guide your journey!”
